Snowflake

During the last snow on Saturday, Sam noticed that there was a perfectly formed snowflake on our fence post. It was so cool, we had to take a couple of pictures of it.

What a difference a day makes!

I took this picture last night so show how we'd decorated our new place for Christmas. BUT, I changed what I was going to blog about today.

What a difference a day makes! It started snowing this morning, which almost makes up for how cold it is here! It stopped snowing for a few minutes, so I ran outside to take a picture. It's already about an inch deep and snowing strong. Being a southern girl, it's exciting to see snow in December. BUT of course you can't eat it yet. According to Linus you should never eat December snow, but wait until January!

Birds enjoying a snowy meal. It's so windy here, that the birdseed gets blown out of the feeder onto the ground. That doesn't stop the birds though. Also, several times a week I hear a big Thunk! as Mia hits to door trying to pounce on them!

Thanksgiving 2007

Happy Thanksgiving! Check out our yummy turkey (on the counter, not grinning for the camera!)

Making the last of our meal. Goodness, I needed to brush my hair!

Sam pouring the sparkling grape juice, right before dinner. Thank goodness for the Tide To Go pen! He accidentally splashed some on my linen table runner. Good thing he's so cute!

Maggie sulking, because she wants some turkey. It was too cute! I had to take a picture.
